Features of the Toshiba Tablet PC

For consumers searching for just the right tablet PC for their needs, there are many available options in a wide variety of price ranges. Some of the most innovative of these is the new generation of Toshiba Tablet PCs. The Toshiba tablet looks very similar to your normal everyday laptop notebook computer. However, the tablet PC is much smaller in size and runs on Window’s Vista operating system, a perk that is rarely seen in the tablet PC market.

The Toshiba version also offers you not only a complete keyboard in a smaller size along with the functionality of a touch screen mouse, but it also allows you the option to write with a digital ink pen in order to contain your handwritten notes and work in a digital format. The handwritten work done on corresponding digital paper can instantly be uploaded into your tablet PC without having to purchase any more software in order to get the full functionality of the digital pen as a tool. Another fantastic tool of the Toshiba Tablet PC is that its screen is fully movable, allowing you to position it in any way that you would like, even turned completely around to show your friends or colleagues precisely what you are working on in real time without having to install and use a projector or other computer screen.

The Toshiba Tablet PC can be used either with the keyboard and mouse as a normal laptop computer can be, or you can flip the screen around “closing” it over the keyboard and utilize the touch screen functions of the computer with a specialized pen or stylus. The size of the tablet PC is somewhat smaller than your everyday laptop, however its size is much nearer that of a laptop than its weight is.

Though they both may be about the same size, the tablet PC retains all of the functionality of a regular laptop with the versatility of a digital tablet without the added issues of having to dock the tablet to download all of your information. The information that you input into the tablet section of the PC is instantly captured on your laptop’s hard drive saving you time and effort by not having to move the files in order to save them permanently.

Other functionality of the Toshiba Tablet PC includes speech recognition software which allows what you speak to be transferred directly to your computer’s word processing software via a speech recognition program that is taught to translate your words to type without expending effort on your part to transcribe your notes. It also allows for you to download and read eBooks instantly in an easy to use format which looks and sounds more like a traditional book without the inconvenience of having to carry several books with you at once. There is even a mechanism that makes a page turning sound in order to give you a more authentic book reading experience.

The Toshiba Tablet PC has every bit of the functionality of a laptop combined with the best of a tablet PC to give you all of the tools that you will need to get and stay organized and productive in one machine.
